Last summer I rode with Muskwa-Kechika Adventures for three weeks on horseback and had Diamond Hitch meals prepared for me twice a day. The recipes were unique; the meat, gluten free grains and vegetables were plentiful; and the sauces were rich and well seasoned. Diamond Hitch’s recipes are filling, nutritious and also comforting on the (often cold and wet) trail! I’ve tried numerous dehydrated and freeze dried meals and these are by the far the most carefully prepared and considered out there. It’s hard to tell they aren’t fresh.
